So you think you want a commissioned piece, huh?

 

I believe art should be something everyone (regardless of budget) should be able to enjoy. Check out these FAQs below and contact me when you’re ready to take the plunge! 

 

Q: How long does a commission take?

A: Most commissions take anywhere between a few weeks to a few months, depending on size or details. Smaller canvases typically have shorter wait times. 


Q: How is price determined?

A: Price is determined by size, detail level, materials needed, and expected timeline. Please reach out with size, description, reference photos, and deadline (if applicable) for a custom quote. Alternatively, you can reach out to me with your budget and I can help guide you to what I’m able to do within the price range  


Q: How does payment work?

A: I will need 50% of quoted price in order to start your commission. You will receive progress photos along the way to make sure everything is coming out correctly. Remaining 50% will be due prior to shipment (or at time of pickup, if local). 


Q: Are payment plans available?

A: Yes! Send me an email and let’s talk about it. 


Q: Can I get my deposit back if I need to cancel a commission?

A: Deposits are typically used to purchase materials needed for your commission. Deposits may be refunded if materials haven’t been purchased or the project hasn’t been started yet. 


Q: “I have like a gazillion followers on Instagram. Could you make me something and I’ll give you a shoutout?”

A: No. ♥️
